About Us

CERCL (Chemical Engineering Research Consultants Ltd.) has been providing expertise to industry, government, and the legal and insurance professions for more than 40 years. The firm was founded in 1963 by the professoriate of the Department of Chemical Engineering and Applied Chemistry at the University of Toronto as a means of providing access for the public to the extensive expertise in the Department. Today, CERCL consists of approximately 25 Professors of Chemical Engineering, who consult in their various areas of specialization.
